Apple Seeds iOS 12.3 Beta 2 to Developers

In March, Apple officially released iOS 12.2 to the public. That software wasn’t a major upgrade, but it did welcome things like Apple News+ to the mix.

Update: Apple has officially seeded the second corresponding public beta of iOS 12.3 to public beta testers. The new software is available now for public beta testers. Simply update as usual on a registered device within the program.

Now, Apple is moving ahead with betas for the next update to its mobile operating system. Today, Apple officially seeded the second developer beta of iOS 12.3. This is appears to be a minor update in scale, with the company focusing primarily on behind-the-scenes bug fixes and general overall improvements. However, the company did lay the groundwork for the public launch of its revamped TV app later this year with the first developer beta. Now, with the second, Apple will continue to tweak the formula to get it ready for the public.

If any additional discoveries are made, we will update this post accordingly.

To update, developers that have registered their supported iOS devices simply need to open Settings –> General –> Software Update and then follow the onscreen instructions.

Apple typically kicks things off with a developer beta, but a corresponding public beta of the same software will likely launch in short order. If you don’t want to wait for the public beta, and want to try out the developer beta –but you aren’t a developer yourself– you can do so for free by following the method through this link.Sponsor ads:
